This is from the Telegraph December 9th 1964 and this was the 4BK Top 10 with Elvis Presley at number 1 with Ask Me along with a song that was recorded in 1958 but never released until 1964 Ain't Loving You Baby, Jay and the Americans at number 2 with Come A Little Bit Closer, The Searchers at number 3 with their version of the Jackie De Shannon song When You Walk In The Room which it was the first recording with bass player Frank Allen who replaced original member Tony Jackson, Billy Thorpe (from Moorooka) and the Aztecs at number 4 with their version of the Fats Domino song Sick and Tired with About Love which was a cover of The Hollywood Argyles song, Cliff Richard who was recently in Brisbane was at number 5 with his version of the Johnny Mathis song The Twelfth Of Never, Jimmy Rodgers at number 6 with Someplace Green, Lorne Greene who was on the TV shoe Bonanza was at number 7 with Ringo, Julie Rogers at number 8 with the Wedding which was a cover of a Spanish song called La Novia, The Shangri-Las at number 9 with Leader Of The Pack and The Overlanders at number 10 with their version of the Shadows song Don't It Make You Feel Good.
