Black and Blue The Rolling Stones

On April 23rd 1976 the Rolling Stones released the album Black and Blue which was recorded at Musicland in Munich, Rolling Stones Mobile Studio in Rotterdam and Mountain Recording in Montreux for overdubbing between December 1974 until February 1976 and went to number 1 in the USA, number 2 in the UK and number 4 and from that album had the hit single Fool To Cry. It was the first Stones album for Ronnie Wood who had come from the Jeff Beck Group and the Faces as an member having joined in 1975 when Mick Taylor who joined in 1969 replacing Brian Jones left in 1974 and among the other musicians playing on the album including Billy Preston, Harvey Mandel who had played with Canned Heat and British pianist and organist Nicky Hopkins. It is now out on CD which I am reviewing the double CD edition and on the first CD has the original tracks that was on the album and also the 2nd CD it has Outakes and Jams including 3 with Jeff Beck and 1 with Harvey Mandel. It is FANTASTIC and BRILLIANT with FANTASTIC songs which holds up very well and still sounding great today as it did back then. This is an must for Rolling Stones fans and I give it 4 stars as it's in the shops now so do yoruselves an favour and BUY IT which you will be impressed and amazed.
