Wings The Story of a Band On the Run by Paul McCartney

This is about the British rock band Wings which it's written by member Paul McCartney with Ted Widmer doing the editing and in the book talks about the break up of the Beatles, the formation of Wings in 1971 with his wife Linda and Denny Laine who had been in the Moody Blues in the 60's who would achieve great success with hit singles including Give Ireland Back To The Irish, Mary Had A Little Lamb, Live and Let Die, My Love, Jet, Listen To What The Man Said, Silly Love Songs and Mull Of Kintyre as well as albums including Band On The Run, Red Rose Speedway and Venus and Mars, the line up changes, touring the world and many others as well as it has interviews with members of Wings as well other key people. It is AWESOME, AMAZING and BRILLIANT with AWESOME and SUPERB stories as well as very impressive and very entertaining which it is well worth a read. Sir Paul is still performing which he has just done an tour of America recently and let's hope for another Australian tour in the future and also Wings should be considered for an Rock and Roll Hall of Fame induction for the impact they made on rock and roll. This is an must for fans of Paul McCartney and Wings and I give it 5 stars as it's in the shops now do yourselves an favour and BUY IT which you will be impressed and amazed.
