Insomnia by Robbie Robertson

This is the posthumous memoir of Canadian musician, songwriter and founding member of the iconic Canadian rock group The Band Robbie Robertson and in this book talks about his friendship with iconic director Martin Scorsese as well as behind the scenes of the Last Waltz, Raging Bull and Carny, encounters with Robert De Niro, Gary Busey, Jennifer O'Neill, British director Michael Powell, Andy Warhol and Isabella Rossellini and many others. It is FANTASTIC and BRILLIANT with FANTASTIC and AMAZING stories covering the period between 1977-80 which it also very impressive and very entertaining and it is well worth a read. It's been 2 years since the passing of Robbie Robertson but the great music he made with the Band as well as his solo career still lives on and it will never die as great music endures and this is a must for fans of the Band which I give it 4 stars as it's in the shops now as it's in the shops now so do yourselves an favour and BUY IT which you will be impressed and amazed.
