Ella McCay
This afternoon I went to the Dendy Cinema Coorparoo to see the movie Ella McCay.It's 2008 Ella McCay(Emma Mackey) who has been raised by her Aunty Helen (Jamie Lee Curtis) after her mother Claire(Rebecca Hall) passed away and who as been estranged from her father Eddie (Woody Harrelson) is Lieutenant Governor of a state unnamed and her mentor Bill Moore(Albert Brooks) who is Governor that he is resigning as he taken a cabinet position in the upcoming Presidential election and Ella takes over as she was told that it was to be for 14 months which there is issues she is dealing as well including her marriage to Ryan (Jack Lowden) who wants to be a part of as well as reconnecting with her Brother Casey (Spike Fearn) who she had not been in touch for a year as he has been in his apartment due to having cut ties with his girlfriend Susan (Ayo Edebiri) and it gets interesting. It is excellent, very funny and very entertaining with excellent acting by Emma Mackey, Jamie Lee Curtis, Julie Kavner, Woody Harrelson, Albert Brooks, Rebecca Hall, Jack Lowden, Spike Fearn and Ayo Edeebiri. It's directed by James L Brooks who also did the writing and producing it with Jennifer Brooks, Julie Ansell and Richard Sakai. I give it 4 stars as it's in the cinemas now so do yourselves an favour and SEE IT which you will be impressed and amazed.
