This is the memoir of legendary American actress,dancer and singer Liza Minnelli and in this book talks about her parents Judy Garland and Vincent Minnelli, upbringing in Los Angeles, moving to New York, starting with the off Broadway show Best Foot Forward as well as the Carnival, doing recordings for Capitol, performing in cabaret rooms and Hotel theatres, winning an Tony for Flora, doing movies including Charlie Bubbles, The Sterile Cuckoo, Tell Me You Love Me Junie Moon, Arthur and Stepping Out, the loss of her mother Judy Garland in 1969, her 4 marriages including to Peter Allen, winning the Oscar for her role as Sally Bowles in Cabaret in 1972, her issues with alcohol and drugs, working with Albert Finney, Dudley Moore, Frank Sinatra, Sammy Davis Jr, Martin Scorsese, the Pet Shop Boys and many others. It is AWESOME, FANTASTIC and BRILLIANT with AMAZING and FANTASTIC stories as well as very impressive and very entertaining which it is well worth a read. Liza was supposed to do an publication for her book at the Streicker Centre in New York City on Momday due to illness it has been cancelled and will reschedule.
