Solo Mio

This afternoon I went to the Events Cinema in the city to see the movie Solo Mio. Matt Taylor(Kevin James) who is an art teacher proposes to Heather(Julie Ann Emery) and are about to have their wedding in Italy but on the day Heather doesn't turn up which Matt finds the note which he is devastated and he tries to contact and find her but is unable which he goes on a tour for married couples where he meet Julian (Kim Coates) and his wife Meghan (Alyson Hannigan) and Neil (Jonathan Ruhme) and his wife Donna(Julee Cerda) who is a therapist and both couples are having issues. While dining at the local cafe Matt meets Gia(Nicole Grimaudo) who owns the cafe and shows him around the city which they form a connection and it gets interesting. It is excellent, very funny and very entertaining with excellent acting by Kevin James who was also one of the writers, Alyson Hannigan, Kim Coates, Jonathann Ruhme, Julee Cerda, Nicole Grimaudo and Andrea Bocelli and also Ed Sheeran does an apperance in the movie. It is directed by brothers Chuck and Dan Kinnane and produced by Mark Fasano and Jeffrey Greenstein and I give it 4 stars as it's in the cinemas now so please do yourselves a favour and SEE IT which you will be impressed and amazed.

Vale Peter Flanagan(the Fauns/The Flanagans)

Peter Flanagan member of legendary Australian singing family group the Fauns aka the The Flanagans passed away on September 2nd aged 73 at the Royal North Shore Hospital in Sydney. Peter along with brother Paul and Sister Margaret began as the Fauns in 1959 as they had been doing classical music training which they released 3 singles on the Leedon label- Dance With Me/Don't Take the Stars, We Should Be Together/While Susan Sleeps and Nursery Rhymes Rock and as the Flanagans they released 4 singles on the HMV label-He/Wonderland Of Love and Dreams(1965), Follow the Wind/Land OF Beyond(1965), You Were Meant FOr Me/That's How Man Began(1966) and This is My Song/For Bobby(1967). the group did appearances on Bandstand,Six O'Clock Rock, Teen Time, The Johnny O'Keefe Show, Sing Sing Sing, the Mike Walsh Show, IMT, Revue 61, Revue 62 and many others as well as performing on the Matt Munro TV special in 1966 as well as performing in the clubs too as well as co writing the song...
