This is from the Telegraph April 1st 1957 and long before known as the Good Times and Great Classic Hits station as well as for a time in the 80's as an country music station 4KQ was one of Brisbane's popular radio stations at the time in the 50's as it was a music station even then which among their disc jockeys was Rocky Ned who did the Breakfast Session On Monday to Saturday as well as Hit Tunes on Monday at 12.45pm, Rhythm Roundup on Wednesday at 12.45pm, Western Hit Parade Friday at 9pm, Infanteen Show Saturday at 10.30am, Barbecue Saturday at 6.30pm, Let's Build on These Saturday at 7.15pm and Record Ramble Sunday at 12.15pm.
