The A's, The B's and the Monkees
This is the new compilation by iconic American rock group the Monkees and this is an double CD which the 1st one is the singles that were released on Colgems from 1966-70 which includes Last Train To Clarksville, I'm A Believer, Pleasant Valley Sunday and Daydream Believer with the second CD that has the b sides which includes I'm Not Your Stepping Stone, The Girl I Knew Somwhere, Words, Goin Down and Tapicoa Tundra as well as the booklet written by Andrew Sandoval who wrote a book about the Monkees called The Monkees The Day By Day Story and also has the seesions about played on the recordings. It's FANTASTIC and BRILLIANT with FANTASTIC and AWESOME songs which has stood the test of time and still sounding great today as it did back then as great songs endures. This year is 60 years when the Monkees came on the scene as well as the TV series started and Mickey Dolenz who is the last surviving Monkee is currently touring America celebrating the Monkees called 60 Years of the Monkees which I hope someone brings Mickey to Australia and also the Monkees should be considered for the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame induction for the impact on music so let's hope it happens sooner than later. This is an must for Monkees fans and I give it 4 and an half stars and it's in the shops now so do yourselves an favour and BUY IT which you will be impressed and amazed.
