Flamingos Aren't Born Pink Robin Bailey
This is the memoir of Brisbane radio personality Robin Bailey and in the book she talks about her upbringing in Sydney, losing her father at age 11, doing Hey Hey It's Saturday, working on Hobart and Adelaide TV, moving to Brisbane where she would achieve great success on radio with B105, 97.3 and Triple M, her 3 marriages including to Tony whom they had 3 sons which sadly ended when he committed suicide and Sean which sadly ended with his passing from liver cancer, working with BBQ Bob Gallagher, Jamie Dunn, Ian Skippen and Terry Hansen and many others. It is AMAZING, BRILLIANT and SUPERB as well as sad, touching and uplifting with Amazing and inspirational stories with a message of hope after what Robin has gone through she has emerged stronger, brighter and even more fiercely devoted to her family and this book should be a inspiration to anyone who have through similar situations themselves. Robin is back on 97.3 with Corey Oates and Kip from 6am until 10am which it is great to see them back on the air after having been let go late last year but got reinstated which was FANTASTIC and it's important to support Brisbane radio as people like Robin are part of it what keeps Brisbane people entertained every morning. This is a must for Robin Bailey fans and I give it 5 stars as it's in the shops now so please do yourselves a favour and BUY IT which you will be touched, inspired, impressed and amazed.
