Under A Rock by Chris Stein

This is the memoir of American musician and founding member of the legendary American rock band Blondie Chris Stein and in this book he talks about his upbringing in Brooklyn, getting his first guitar at age 12, losing his father at age 13, playing in an band, taking photos, joined an band called The Stilletos, formed the band Blondie who would go on to great success with albums including the self title album, Parallel Lines, Eat To The Beat and Autoamerican as well as the hit singles including Heart Of Glass, The Tide Is High, Call Me, In The Flesh, his issues with drugs, encounters with Mike chapman, David Bowie, Iggy Pop and Richard Gotteher, hosting the TV show TV Party and many others. It is FANTASTIC and BRILLIANT as well as Amazing, Impressive and Very entertaining which it is worth an read as well as lead singer Debbie Harry doing the forward and Blondie who are still performing but Chris doesn't tour with them due to health issues but still remain active in the band as an major contributor to the forthcoming album by Blondie. This is an must for Blondie fans and I give it 4 and an half stars as it's in the shops now so do yoruselves an favour and BUY IT which you will be impressed and amazed.
