This is the autobiography of the 2 surviving members of the British girl rock band The Liverbirds Mary McGlory and Sylvia Saunders and in this book they talk about their upbringing in Liverpool, Mary playing in the Squaws, forming the Liverbirds, playing around the UK, going to Germany where they would achieve great success which they recorded 2 albums, playing at the Star Club, encounters with the Rolling Stones, the Beatles, The Kinks and Jimi Hendrix and many others It is AWESOME, BRILLIANT and SUPERB with BRILLIANT and FANTASTIC stories as well as very impressive and very entertaining which it's well worth an read. The Liverbirds were one of the very first all female rock band which they should deserve more recognition for the impact they made and this an must for 60's music fans which I give it 5 stars as it's in the shops now so do yourselves an favour and BUY IT which you will be impressed and amazed.
