Issi Dye and the Legends of Rock and Roll Show @ Twin Towns

Today I went to Twin Towns to see legendary Australian singer Issi Dye and the Legends of Rock and Roll Show which had Glenn Douglas, Lisa Stewart, Peter Trianitis and Sharon Lee and I had only saw Issi and Glenn 5 days ago during Cooly Rocks On at the Greenmount Surf CLub. I caught the bus to Westfield and then to South Bank, caught train to Varsity Lakes, caught the bus to Coolangatta, rang Dad and walk to Twin Towns. Went to the showroom and write notes. The show started after 11.05am with Issi coming on stage with Glenn Douglas on guitar doing 2 songs and then doing the Everly brothers stuff, Lisa Stewart came on stage which she did 3 of the Dolly Parton classics, Peter Triantis who is an Elvis tribute performer from Melbourne sang an few Elvis songs which included Viva Las Vegas which Issi sang with him, Issi sang She's My Baby, Sharon Lee came on stage doing 3 of the Olivia Newton John classics and the Abba song Dancing Queen with her 15 year old daughter Siloh which they sounded great together , then Glenn came out to do the Roy Orbison stuff and Issi came out which doing One Last Kiss and finished off with Johnny Be Goode which the others came back on stage doing the backing vocals. The show finished after 12.30pm and after the show Issi and Glenn had CD's on sale which they came out to sign them as well as getting photos with the fans which I got photos with Issi, Glenn, Sharon and Peter as well as meeting Sharon's daughter. Went to the bakery where I had an pie and Coke With No Sugar, caught bus to Varsity Lakes, caught train to South Brisbane, rang Dad and Caught bus home. It was an FANTASTIC show with great performances by Issi who is always FANTASTIC as well as very entertaining, Lisa, Peter, Sharon and Glenn all sounded great too as singing very well too and everyone enjoyed themselves including myself. I look forward to seeing Issi again soon and if you have not seen him live please do yourselves an favour and SEE HIM which you will be impressed and amazed by an legend of Australian music.
