Dwight Icenhower Elvis From Hollywood To New York City @ the Elvis Precinct
On Friday night June 7th I went to the Elvis Precinct to see the American Elvis tribute performer Dwight Icenhower which was my first time seeing the show. I went to the Earth n Sea in Coolangatta where I had Pizza and chips for dinner, drank Coke Coke with no Sugar, went to the ELvis Precinct, went inside, use mobile and write notes. The show started at 7.30pm with Dean Vegas doing the MC Dwight came on stage which in the first set he did the songs that Elvis did in the movies including King of The Whole Wide World, Rubberneckin as well as some of the title tracks including Love Me Tender and King Cerole and there was an interval where I had an Coke With No Sugar to drink, went inside and use mobile. Dwight came back on the stage wearing the white gear that Elvis wore in the 70's as he was performing the songs Elvis did at Madison Square Garden including Proud Mary, Never Been To Spain, Love Me, All Shook Up which during Dwight along the help of Dean were giving scarfs to the ladies out the front which those who got it were lucky and Dwight apologised to those who didn't get it. The show finished at 9pm, rang Mum and went back to the Twin Towns Sebel. It was an FANTASTIC show with an FANTASTIC performance by Dwight who did the songs very well as well the 2 eras very well too backed up by an great band with great players as well as the back up singers who sounded great and everyone in the audience had an great time including myself which I hope Dwight comes back again to Cooly in the future.
