The Real Thing Symphonic Concert Russell Morris

In July 2023 legendary Australian singer-songwriter Russell Morris performed at the Hamer Hall in Melbourne backed up the 54 piece Southern Cross Symphony as well as the musicians including guitarist Peter Robinson and Craig Newman on bass as well as among the backing singers including John Creech who plays drums with Rusell Morris as well as being an member of the Mixtures and Bluestone and Jason Vollmer and he performed many of his hits from the 60's and 70's including Hush, The Real Thing, Rachel, Sweet Sweet Love, Wings of A Eagle as well as from the songs from the albums he did in the 2010's as well as the Moody Blues song Nights In White Satin as well as Russell telling stories about some of the songs. The show was an huge success which would led to the tour between October and December 2023 including Brisbane. It is AWESOME, BRILLIANT and SUPERB with FANTASTIC and BRILLIANT songs which has stood the test of time and the band sounded FANTASTIC with an great performance by Russell Morris who is still sounding at age 75 76 on July 31st. Meanwhile Russell will be touring in the Fabulous Carpettos with Dave Gleeson from the Screaming Jets and the Angels, Jack Jones(Southern Sons) and Rai Thistlethwayte from Thirsty Merc which includes Caloundra on October 3rd and Twin Towns October 4th and this DVD is an must for Russell Morris fans which I give it 5 stars as it's in the shops now so do yourselves an favour and BUY IT which you will be impressed and amazed.
