4BK August 1970

This is from the Telegraph August 17th 1970 and until 1990 when it became B105 4BK was one of Brisbane's popular radio stations which among their radio personalities was Geoff Atkinson who was with 4BC from 1958-68 and joined 4BC in 1969 which he did the Breakfast Show from 5am until 8am weekdays.

Peter Flanagan member of legendary Australian singing family group the Fauns aka the The Flanagans passed away on September 2nd aged 73 at the Royal North Shore Hospital in Sydney. In August and September 2025 legendary British rock group Hermans Hermits are touring Australia which they will be performing in Queensland, NSW, ACT, Western Australia and Victoria and the group with original member and drummer Barry Whitwam, Jamie Thurston on bass guitar and vocals, John Summerton on guitar and vocals and Tony Young on Keyboards and vocals will perform many of their classic hits from the 60's including I'm Into Something Good, Mrs Brown You've Got A Lovely Daughter, No Milk Today, There's A Kind Of Hush, My Sentimental Friend and many others.
