4IP Top 40 charts December 1974

This is from the Telegraph December 5th 1974(50 Years ago today) and this was the 4IP Top 40 charts with Olivia Newton John at number 1 with the song written by Peter Allen and Jeff Barry I Love You I Honestly I Love You, Carl Douglas at number 2 with Kung Fu Fighting, Bobby Russell at number 3 with Go Chase Your Rainbow and Donny and Marie Osmond at number 4 with their version of the Dale and Grace hit from 1963 with I'm Leaving It All Up To You. The new entries in the charts that week were the 4IP Good Guys with Paul J Turner at number 34 with I Wanna Paint Set Santa and Paul McCartney and Wings at number 37 with Junior's Farm and besides from Olivia Newton John and the 4IP Good Guys the other Australian acts in the charts that week were The Moir Sisters at number 6 with Good Morning How Are you, William Shakespeare at number 11 with the song written by Harry Vanda and George Young with Can't Stop Myself From Loving You, Jigsaw who was also backing up Johnny chester at number 12 with A Rose Has To Die, Shebert at number 17 with Silvery Moon and Brian Cadd at number 21 with Let Go.
