The Radiators Queensland Shows January 2025

In January 2025 legendary Australian rock band The Radiators will be performing 3 shows in Queensland during the Australia Day weekend and the band with original members Geoff Turner on bass guitar and lead singer Brian Nicol since 1978 along with Mark Lucas on drums since 1989 and Martin Cilia who is from the Atlantics and Mental As Anything on guitar since 2021 will perform the band's classic hits including Comin Home, No Tragedy, Life's A Gamble and many others. If you would like to see them please do yourselves an favour and SEE THEM which you will be impressed and amazed as well as be entertained by an legendary Australian band as it will bring back memories who grew up in the 70's and the 80's in the era of Countdown as well as the pub rock era too and for people who have discovered their music for the first time it will be an experience. Vale Peter Flanagan(the Fauns/The Flanagans)

Peter Flanagan member of legendary Australian singing family group the Fauns aka the The Flanagans passed away on September 2nd aged 73 at the Royal North Shore Hospital in Sydney. Peter along with brother Paul and Sister Margaret began as the Fauns in 1959 as they had been doing classical music training which they released 3 singles on the Leedon label- Dance With Me/Don't Take the Stars, We Should Be Together/While Susan Sleeps and Nursery Rhymes Rock and as the Flanagans they released 4 singles on the HMV label-He/Wonderland Of Love and Dreams(1965), Follow the Wind/Land OF Beyond(1965), You Were Meant FOr Me/That's How Man Began(1966) and This is My Song/For Bobby(1967). the group did appearances on Bandstand,Six O'Clock Rock, Teen Time, The Johnny O'Keefe Show, Sing Sing Sing, the Mike Walsh Show, IMT, Revue 61, Revue 62 and many others as well as performing on the Matt Munro TV special in 1966 as well as performing in the clubs too as well as co writing the song...

This is the book about 2 iconic Australian music shows that were on Channel 0 (now Channel 10)back in the 60's The Go Show on August 4th 1964 which lasted for 3 years and 222 episodes until September 17th 1967 and Kommotion hosted by Ken Sparkes was on from December 13th 1965 until September 28th 1967 after 356 episodes and in the book it has the info about both shows as well as episode guides as well the discography of both the Go label and the Kommotion label and the people who worked on Kommotion including Denise Drysdale and Molly Meldrum and many others including some memorabilla and photos of the artists.
