This is the memoir of iconic American singer and actress and in this book she talks about her upbringing in California, living in Texas and New York, her mother's marriages, doing the Oklahoma musical, meeting Sonny Bono who would become her husband, doing background vocals on records produced by Phil Spector including The Ronettes Be My Baby, You've Lost That Lovin Feelin by The Righteous Brothers as well as the Crystals and Darlene Love, began recording as Bonnie Jo mason as well as with Sonny as Caesar and Cleo before eventually settling with Sonny and Cher, achieving great success with Sonny with I Got You Babe, having her first solo hit with All I Really Want to Do, having an daughter (now son)Chasity who is now Chaz, doing the Sonny and Cher Comedy Hour on TV in the 70's, the break up with Sonny, her marriage to Greg Allman which they had a son Elijah Blue, encounters with people with the Rolling Stones, Phil Spector, Sammy Davis Jr, George Sanders, Bob Dylan and many others. It is AWESOME, BRILLIANT and SUPERB with FANTASTIC and BRILLIANT stories as well as very impressive and very entertaining which it is well worth an read. this is the first of 2 part memoir as the second one will be out in 2025 and it has been an great year for Cher with the compilation of her solo CD Forver as well as being inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall Of Fame which she truly deserves it for the impact she has made on music. This is an must for Cher fans which I give it 5 stars as it's in the shops now so do yourselves an favour and BUY IT which you will be impressed and amazed.
