Christmas Spectacular Show with Mirusia and Friends @ City Hall
This afternoon I went to the City Hall to see the Christmas Spectacular Show which had Australian singer Mirusia and Friends which included Adam Thompson from legendary Australia rock band Chocolate Starfish. I caught the bus to the city, went to Grill'd where I had Simon Says Chicken Burger and Chips for lunch, drank Pepsi Max, had a alook at JB Hi Fi where I bought 2 Ray Charles CD's and walk to the City Hall. Bought 2 CD's Marusia, went inside and use mobile. The show started after 3 pm with Gary Thorpe from 4MBS who does Silver Memories, Vicki Howard an MP and former Governor of Queensland/Governor General of Australia Quinton Bryce the performers came out with the Christmas Vocal Quartet, Mirusia and Martin Lass along with the Queensland Choir and the Brisbane Symphony Orchestra with Antoni Bonetti conducting did in the first set doing the known Christmas songs including Joy To The World, Christmas Day and Deck the Halls and there was an interval where I Bought cookie and Pepsi Max at the Shingle Inn and went back inside again. The second set started with an film clip about 4MBS doing the Silver Memories and what they do and starts off with the Overtrue to the Pirates of Penzance then Mirusia came out doing My Favourite Things from the Sound Of Music as well as Adam Thompson came out towards the end of the show Jingle Bell Rock and The Little Drummer Boy as well as doing O Holy Night with Mirusia. The show ended at about 5 pm, went to the bus stop and caught bus to Carindale. Went to the Carindale Hotel where I had Steak, chips and Salad for dinner, rang Dad, went outside, he picked me up and came home It was an FANTASTIC show which everyone enjoyed themselves including myself and Mirusia sounded great as well as Adam Thompson was FANTASTIC too doing those 2 songs as well as Antoni did an great job doing the conducting as well as great playing by the Orchestra as well as the Choir and the Christmas Vocal Quartet. I look forward to see it again next year and I look forward to Mirusia again in the future.
