Moana 2

Today I went to the Dendy Cinema Coorparoo where I saw the movie Moana 2 the sequel of the first Moana 8 years ago. Moana(Auli'i Cravalho) spends her days exploring the other islands near her home island of Motunui has been asked by her ancestor Tautai Vasa(Gerald Ramsey) to look for the lost island of Motufetu and break it's curse as the malicious storm god Nalo wanted power over the mortals which she has to find an way to raise Motufetu to stop the people of Motunui going to extinct in the future and she assembles an team that has Loto(Rose Matafeo), Moni(Hualalai Chung) and Kele (David Fane) along with her pets Heihei(Alan Tudyk) and Pua as well as Maui (Dwayne Johnson) comes along and it gets interesting. It is excellent, very funny and very entertaining with excellent acting by Asli'i Cravalho, Dwayne Johnson, Rachel Matafeo, Gerald Ramsey, David Fane, Hualalai Chung, Alan Tudyk and Temuera Morrison. It is directed by David Derrick Jr, Jason Hand and Dana Ledoux Miller who also did the screenplay with Jared Bush whom with both did the story with Bek Miller and was produced by Christina Chen and Yvett Merino. I am giving this 4 stars as it's in the cinemas now so do yourselves an favour and SEE IT which you will be impressed and amazed which will be great for the family as with the school holidays coming up.

Vale Peter Flanagan(the Fauns/The Flanagans)

Peter Flanagan member of legendary Australian singing family group the Fauns aka the The Flanagans passed away on September 2nd aged 73 at the Royal North Shore Hospital in Sydney. Peter along with brother Paul and Sister Margaret began as the Fauns in 1959 as they had been doing classical music training which they released 3 singles on the Leedon label- Dance With Me/Don't Take the Stars, We Should Be Together/While Susan Sleeps and Nursery Rhymes Rock and as the Flanagans they released 4 singles on the HMV label-He/Wonderland Of Love and Dreams(1965), Follow the Wind/Land OF Beyond(1965), You Were Meant FOr Me/That's How Man Began(1966) and This is My Song/For Bobby(1967). the group did appearances on Bandstand,Six O'Clock Rock, Teen Time, The Johnny O'Keefe Show, Sing Sing Sing, the Mike Walsh Show, IMT, Revue 61, Revue 62 and many others as well as performing on the Matt Munro TV special in 1966 as well as performing in the clubs too as well as co writing the song...

This is the book about 2 iconic Australian music shows that were on Channel 0 (now Channel 10)back in the 60's The Go Show on August 4th 1964 which lasted for 3 years and 222 episodes until September 17th 1967 and Kommotion hosted by Ken Sparkes was on from December 13th 1965 until September 28th 1967 after 356 episodes and in the book it has the info about both shows as well as episode guides as well the discography of both the Go label and the Kommotion label and the people who worked on Kommotion including Denise Drysdale and Molly Meldrum and many others including some memorabilla and photos of the artists.
