4BC Top 30 charts October 1974

This is from the Telegraph October 25th 1974 and this was the 4BC top 30 charts with Australian singer William Shakespeare at number 1 with the song written by Harry Vanda and George Young Can't Stop Myself From Loving You, Paul Anka at number 2 with You're Having My Baby, Paper Lace at number 3 with the song written and prodcued by Peter Callender and Mitch Murray The Night Chicago Died and Lieutenant Pigeon at number 4 with I'll Take You Home Again Kathleen. The new entries in the charts that week were Billy "Crash" Craddock who had Australian hits in the early 60's including Boom Boom Bay was at number 28 with Rub It In, Brisbane group The Fairbachs at number 29 with Dreamboat and at number 30 Melbourne group Jigsaw who backed up Australian singer Johnny Chester for a few years was at number 30 with A Rose Has To Die and besides from William Shakespeare, The Fairbachs and Jigsaw the other Australian acts in the charts that week were Olivia Newton John at number 10 with the song written by Peter Allen and Jeff Barry and produced by John Farrar I Love You I Honestly Love You, Brian Cadd at number 12 with Let Go, Sherbet at number 14 with Silvery Moon, Brisbane band Railroad Gin at number 17 with Do Ya Love Me/Academy Rock and Kamahl at number 18 with Our Love Song.
