Rick Price @ Redland Performing Arts Centre
On Wednesdaynight October 1st I went to see legendary Australian singer Rick Price which it was my first time seeing him live. Caught the bus to Cleveland, went to the Cleveland Sands Hotel where I had Steak, Chips and Salad for dinner, drank Coke with No Sugar, ate Chocolate Brownie, walk to Redland Performing Arts Centre, Bought CD and went inside. The show started at 7.30pm with Rick Price coming on stage wearing a hat and there was an guitar and piano no band just Rick and the instruments and was on stage for an hour and an half no interval doing songs some from his new album as well as his classic hits from the 90's including Walk Away Renee, Not A Day Go By and River of Love as well as telling stories about his career including living in Beaudesert as well as his start in the business which mainly he played guitar for most of the show but he played piano for 2 songs. I left at 8.57pm as Rick was doing the last song, walk(ran) to the bus stop, caught bus to Carindale, Dad picked me up and came home. It was an FANTASTIC show which everyone enjoyed themselves including myself and Rick sounded great as well as playing great giving the audience great entertainment and an great time doing the songs that are still remembered after all these years which they hold up very well to this day. Rick will be touring Australia up to December and if you have not seen him live please do yourselves and SEE HIM which you will be impressed and amazed and I look forward to see Rick again in the future.
