Buckingham Nicks

On September 5th 1973 an singing duo from San Francisco named Lindsey Buckingham singer and guitarist and singer Stevie Nicks who had performed in a band called Fritz for 4 years performing around San Francisco who had met while in high school released the album Buckingham Nicks which was produced by Keith Olsen but it did not hit the charts and it was the one that caught the eye of drummer Mick Fleetwood from British rock band Fleetwood Mac while looking for a studio that would lead Stevie and Lindsey to join Fleetwood Mac that would the biggest band in the world as well as the classic line up would last 12 years and 5 albums including Rumours. The Buckingham Nicks album for over 52 years was never been re-issued, remastered or released digitally and it is now finally out on CD as well as digitally and vinyl. On the album it has all the 10 tracks most written by Stevie and Lindsey except 1 written by John Lewis Django an instrumental and among the musicians who played on the album were Jim Keltner, Ronnie Tutt who was playing with Elvis Presley at the time and later on Neil Diamond, Jerry Scheff who also played with Elvis at the time and guitarist Waddy Watchel. It is an FANTASTIC album with great songs with great singing by Stevie and Lindsey and it holds up very well which still sounds great today to what was back then considering as it was not a chart success. But it has gone into the charts in 2025 going to number 11 in the USA, number 6 in the UK and number 30 in Australia and this is a must for Fleetwood Mac fans which I give it 4 stars as it's in the shops now so do yourselves an favour and BUY IT which you will be impressed and amazed.
