Downton Abbey The Grand Finale
Yesterday afternoon I went to the Elizabeth Cinema in the City where I saw the movie Downton Abbey The Grand Finale. It's 1930 and things are happening to the Crawley Family and the staff with Mary (Michelle Dockery) is divorced from Henry Talbot, Cora's (Elizabeth McGovern) brother Harold Levinson(Paul Giamatti)comes to England from America after their mother's passing which he is accompained by financial adviser Gus Sambrook(Alessandro Nivola) which they have an mutual attraction, Mary's divorce causes the residents of Downton shun the Crawley Family and refuses an dinner invitation, Robert(Hugh Bonneville) agrees to entrust Downton Abbey to Mary which he and Cora plan to move to the dower house and it gets interesting. It is FANTASTIC and BRILLIANT with FANTASTIC acting by Hugh Bonneville, Elizabeth McGovern, Michelle Dockery, Jim Carter, Paul Giamatti, Alessandro Nivola, Penelope Wilson, Dominic West and Joely Richardson. It is directed by Simon Curtis, the tv series creator Julian Fellows who was one of the producers with Garth Neame and Liz Trubridge and he also did the screenplay too. It is an nice fitting way to finish off the Downton Abbey franchise starting with the TV series for 5 years and the 2 other movies as well and the legacy will be remebered. This is a must for Downton Abbey fans and I give it 4 stars as it's still in the cinemas now so do yourselves a favour and SEE IT which you will be impressed and amazed.
