Saving Grace Robert Plant

This is the new album legendary British singer Robert Plant which it is his 12th solo album and this was recorded at Monnow Valley Studios Monmouth, Es Para Worcestershire, Rectory Farm Barn Costwolds and Stonehill Farm Worcestershire between April 2019 until January this year which the songs on the album are covers as among them were Soul of A Man an cover of the Blind Willie Johnson song, It's A Beautiful Day Today an Moby Grape song and Chevrolet an Memphis Minnie song. It is FANTASTIC and BRILLIANT with great singing by Robert Plant who is still sounding great at age 77 with an great backing band called Saving Grace which the album is named after as Robert Plant has worked with them for over 6 years which including singer Suzi Dian and the album has gone to number 33 in Australia, number 4 in the UK and number 1 in the UK Americana Charts. Robrt with Saving Grace who produced the album will tour the USA and Canada starting on the 30th which will go through until November and shows in the UK and Scotland in December so let's hope for a Australian tour somewhere down the line and it's a must for Robert Plant fans which I give it 4 stars as it's in the shops now so do yourselves an favour and BUY IT which you will be impressed and amazed.

Vale Peter Flanagan(the Fauns/The Flanagans)

Peter Flanagan member of legendary Australian singing family group the Fauns aka the The Flanagans passed away on September 2nd aged 73 at the Royal North Shore Hospital in Sydney. Peter along with brother Paul and Sister Margaret began as the Fauns in 1959 as they had been doing classical music training which they released 3 singles on the Leedon label- Dance With Me/Don't Take the Stars, We Should Be Together/While Susan Sleeps and Nursery Rhymes Rock and as the Flanagans they released 4 singles on the HMV label-He/Wonderland Of Love and Dreams(1965), Follow the Wind/Land OF Beyond(1965), You Were Meant FOr Me/That's How Man Began(1966) and This is My Song/For Bobby(1967). the group did appearances on Bandstand,Six O'Clock Rock, Teen Time, The Johnny O'Keefe Show, Sing Sing Sing, the Mike Walsh Show, IMT, Revue 61, Revue 62 and many others as well as performing on the Matt Munro TV special in 1966 as well as performing in the clubs too as well as co writing the song...

 This is the autobiography of Australian Pianist and musician John Charter and in this book he talks about his upbringing in Kingsford (Sydney), started learning piano at age 8, playing in Australia's first rock and roll band Alan Dale and the Houserockers, playing in his own trio, forming Johnny Rebb and The Rebels with Johnny Rebb who would achieve 6 top 40 hits from 1959-60 including Hey Sheriff and Pathway To Paradise, doing the Lee Gordon tours with the Everly brothers, Fabian , The Platters and Johnny Ray, doing Bandstand and Six O'Clock Rock, working with Slim Dusty, playing in the Sydney Club  and hotel Scene , forming his own group The John Charter Group, working in Vietnam and America with Digger Revell and many others.
