4BC Top 30 charts September 1974
This is from the Telegraph September 27th 1974(50 Years ago today) and this was the 4BC top 30 charts with Paper Lace at number 1 with the song written by Mitch Murray and Peter Callander the Night Chicago Died , George McCrae at number 2 with Rock Your Baby, Stevie Wright at number 3 with the song written by Harry Vanda and George Young Evie and The Hues Corporation at number 4 with Rock The Boat. The new entries in the charts that week were Golden Earring at number 27 with Radar Love, Brian Cadd at number 28 with Let Go which was from the album Moonshine, Mac Davis at number 29 with One Hell Of A Woman and Carl Douglas at number 30 with Kung Fu Fighting and besides from Stevie Wright and Brian Cadd the other Australian and New Zealand acts on the charts that week were Brisbane group Railroad Gin at number 5 with Do Ya Love Me/Academy Rock, Jimmy Little at number 10 with Baby Blue, La De Das at number 13 with Too Pooped to Pop and Linda George at number 25 with Mamma's Little Girl.
