Elvis An American Trilogy Show @ Kedron Wavell

Yesterday afternoon I went to Kedron Wavell to the Elvis Trilogy show which was my 2nd time seeing it as I saw it last year. I caught the bus from Coorparoo to South Brisbane, caught bus from South Brisbane to Chermside, had a look at Dymocks and JB Hi Fi and walk to Kedron Wavell. Went to the Kitchen, had Steak, Chips, Chicken Wings and Salad for lunch, drank Coke With No Sugar, ate Fundae which I was very lucky this time as I got it nearly 10 before before the show started and went to the Blue Pacific Room. The Show started at 2.07pm with Louis Brown who I saw at Cooly Rocks On in June came on first doing the 50's Elvis doing the classics including Heartbreak Hotel, Blue Suede Shoes, Such A Night, It's Now or Never, Don't Be Cruel and many others which in between songs Louis changed into different jackets as well as showing clips and during Jailhouse House an guy named Kerion came on stage with Louis which he threw his glasses into the audience and Michael Chambliss came on which he did the Elvis In Hollywood Songs including Viva Las Vegas, Love Me Tender and Come On Everybody. There was an interval which I went to the toilet and put on Elvis shirt, rang Dad, drank Coke With No Sugar and use mobile. The Show started again with Michael Chambliss doing some of the songs that Elvis performed on the 68 Comeback Special including If I Can Dream and then Steve Michaels came on stage doing the songs from the Aloha From Hawaii show including CC Rider, Burnin Love, You gave Me A Mountain , Love Me and many others which the audience were coming to the stage getting scarfs and the end of the show Louis and Michael joined Steve on stage doing Johnny Be Goode which sounded great. The show ended at about 4.46pm, saw Peter from the Dominoes an Brisbane group, bought an Elvis shirt, went to the bus stop. caught bus to the city, bought Coke With No Sugar, caught bus to Carindale, Dad picked me up and came home. It was an FANTASTIC show which Louis, Michael and Steve were FANTASTIC and very entertaining and everyone had an great time which was packed including myself and also the back up band as well as the backing singers including Serena played and sounded great. It has been 47 years since the passing of Elvis Presley but the great music he made still lives on today and it still sounds great today as it did back then which as we know there is only one Elvis Presley but there is tribute performers doing Elvis and these 3 guys did it so very well . I look forward to seeing the show again in the future and if you have not seen the show please do yourselves an favour and SEE IT which you will be impressed and amazed.
