Midas Man
Tis afternoon I went to the Dendy Cinema Coorparoo where I saw Midas Man. It's Liverpool England 1959 and Brian Epstein (Jacob Fortune-Lloyd) working in his parents' store who is suggesting to add music to the store which happens and in 1961 he goes to the Cavern where he sees an upcoming group called the Beatles which he meets them and wanting to manage them as he changes their image as well as auditioning for Decca but they didn't pass the audition as well as getting turned down by other companies but eventually signed with Parlophone which the Beatles would go on to great success and he also manages Gerry and the Pacemakers, Cilla Black (Darci Shaw) and Billy J Kramer and the Dakotas but behind the scenes he has personal issues to deal with including being gay as well as his relationship with his father Harry (Eddie Marsan) and many others. It is FANTASTIC with FANTASTIC acting by Jacob Fortune-Lloyd who was one of the producers, Darci Shaw, Eddie Marsan, Emily Watson, Ed Speleers and Jay Leno who plays Ed Sullivan. It is directed by Joe Stephenson and produced by Trevor Beattie, Jacob Fortune-lloyd, Jeremy Chatterton, Tom Reeve, Perry Treves, Billy Dietrich, Steffen Wild, Asaf Nawi, Mark Borkowski, Peter Dunne, Saskia Thomas, Ian Hutchinson, Matthew Helderman and Luke Tayler. I give it 4 stars as it's in the cinemas now so do yourselves an favour and SEE IT which you will be impressed and amazed.
