4BC June 1956

This is from the Telegraph June 25th 1956 (70 Years ago today) and now the talk back station as it is the only commercial one here in Brisbane 4BC was one of Brisbane's popular radio stations at the time in the 1950's which among their radio personalities was Jim Illiffe who would acheive great success on TV from the late 50's until the 70's on Channel 9 was on in the mornings and afternoons.

Peter Flanagan member of legendary Australian singing family group the Fauns aka the The Flanagans passed away on September 2nd aged 73 at the Royal North Shore Hospital in Sydney. Hermans Hermits Australian Tour 2025
