4BH June 1966

This is from the Telegraph June 3rd 1966(60 Years Ago today) and now the classic hits here in Brisbane in 2026 4BH was one of Brisbane's popular radio stations at the time in the 60's which among their disc jockeys were John Daley, Bill Gates who was the one who gave the Bee Gees their name as well as doing the record hops including the O'Connor Boathouse in the City and Grahame Cherry who went on to work on 4KQ and 4BK were on Monday to Friday from 4pm until midnight and all day Saturday and Sunday.

Peter Flanagan member of legendary Australian singing family group the Fauns aka the The Flanagans passed away on September 2nd aged 73 at the Royal North Shore Hospital in Sydney. Hermans Hermits Australian Tour 2025

In August and September 2025 legendary British rock group Hermans Hermits are touring Australia which they will be performing in Queensland, NSW, ACT, Western Australia and Victoria and the group with original member and drummer Barry Whitwam, Jamie Thurston on bass guitar and vocals, John Summerton on guitar and vocals and Tony Young on Keyboards and vocals will perform many of their classic hits from the 60's including I'm Into Something Good, Mrs Brown You've Got A Lovely Daughter, No Milk Today, There's A Kind Of Hush, My Sentimental Friend and many others.
