What Will The Neighbours Think? by Jan Russ

This is the memoir of Australian casting director, producer and actress Jan Russ and in the book she talks about being pregnant and unmarried which she gave up her daughter for adoption, began acting in the musicals Oliver, Godspell, Hello Dolly and Fiddler On The Roof, working in New Zealand where she worked on TV, working for Crawfords and Grundys, becoming the casting director and then for Neighbours, encounters with Jason Donovan, Guy Pearce, Margot Robbie and Derek Nimmo and many others. It is FANTASTIC as well as sad, very impressive and very entertaining which it is well worth an read. There was a book launch in Melbourne at Readings Bookstore in Hawthorne which was hosted by Alan Fletcher who played Dr Karl Kennedy for 31 years. This is a must for Australian TV fans and I give it 4 stars as it's in the shop so please do yourselves a favour and BUY IT which you will be impressed and amazed.

Hermans Hermits Australian Tour 2025
