This is from the Telegraph June 23rd 1965 and this was the 4BK top 10 charts with The Seekers who had been in Brisbane on June 3rd that year with the Dave Clark Five, Tommy Quickly, Bobby and Laurie and Brisbane group The Escorts at Festival Hall at number 1 with the song written by Tom Springfield A World Of Our Own, the Melbourne rock group The Henchmen at number 2 with their version of the Bobby Day song Rockin Robin, Herman's Hermits at number 3 with Mrs Brown You've Got A Lovely Daughter, Unit 4 Plus 2 at number 4 with Concrete and Clay, The Dave Clark Five at number 5 with their version of the Chuck Berry song Reelin and Rockin, Lulu at number 6 with her version of Here Comes The Night, Cliff Richard at number 7 with the double sided Just Another Guy(an Neil Diamond song)/The Minute You're Gone which was recorded in Nashville, Julie Rogers at number 8 with Hawaiian Wedding Song/Turn Around, Ray Brown and the Whispers at number 9 with their version of the Brent Edwards song Pride and the Beatles at number 10 with Ticket To Ride

Peter Flanagan member of legendary Australian singing family group the Fauns aka the The Flanagans passed away on September 2nd aged 73 at the Royal North Shore Hospital in Sydney. Hermans Hermits Australian Tour 2025

In August and September 2025 legendary British rock group Hermans Hermits are touring Australia which they will be performing in Queensland, NSW, ACT, Western Australia and Victoria and the group with original member and drummer Barry Whitwam, Jamie Thurston on bass guitar and vocals, John Summerton on guitar and vocals and Tony Young on Keyboards and vocals will perform many of their classic hits from the 60's including I'm Into Something Good, Mrs Brown You've Got A Lovely Daughter, No Milk Today, There's A Kind Of Hush, My Sentimental Friend and many others.
