Elvis Live At The Garden at Elvis Precinct
On Friday afternoon June 5th I went to the Elvis Precinct to see the Elvis tribute show Elvis Live At the Garden that had Jimmy Holmes who I had seen 3 years before and Taylor Rodriguez which was my first time seeing him and they were the songs Elvis performed at Madison Square Garden in 1972. The show started after 5pm with Dean Vegas who is an Elvis tribute performer himself did the compering introducing the acts which Jimmy Holmes came on first starting off with That's Alright Mama as well as other songs including Never Been To Spain, Love Me, Heartbreak Hotel and Love Me Tender which he finished his segment and then Taylor came on which he did Polk Salad Annie and performed other songs including Funny How Time Slips Away, Suspcious Minds, American Trilogy which Jimmy came back on stage and ended it with Can't Help Falling In Love. The show finished at 6.15pm and I went back to the Twin Towns Mantra to change shirts as I had a show to go to at Twin Towns. It was an FANTASTIC show which everyone had a great time and both Jimmy and Taylor sounded great which they did a FANTASTIC job doing the Elvis songs backed by an great band including 2 back up singers who sounded great with an great guitarist and I hope both Jimmy and Taylor come back again soon.
