4BC June 1959

This is from the Telegraph June 16th 1959 and now the talk back station as it is the only commercial one here in Brisbane 4BC was one of Brisbane's popular radio stations in the 1950's which among their disc jockeys were Bert (Birdbrain) Robertson who had been with the station since 1954 and would last until the early 70's was on Monday to Friday at 11.15am doing the Cuppa Club and Geoff Atkinson who was an part of the station's success in the 50's and 60's did the show Shell Dealer Parade Tuesdays to Saturdays from 11pm until Midnight.

Peter Flanagan member of legendary Australian singing family group the Fauns aka the The Flanagans passed away on September 2nd aged 73 at the Royal North Shore Hospital in Sydney. Hermans Hermits Australian Tour 2025
