4IP June 1972

This is from the Telegraph June 22nd 1972 and until 1992 when it became 4TAB which it is now Radio TAB 4IP was one of Brisbane's top music radio stations having originally been based in Ipswich but had a impact in Brisbane by the mid 60's which that weekend and the following weekend the station was doing the top 1,000 best selling hits between 1952-72 which was devoted to the 20 years of rock starting at 3pm that Saturday.

Peter Flanagan member of legendary Australian singing family group the Fauns aka the The Flanagans passed away on September 2nd aged 73 at the Royal North Shore Hospital in Sydney. Hermans Hermits Australian Tour 2025

In August and September 2025 legendary British rock group Hermans Hermits are touring Australia which they will be performing in Queensland, NSW, ACT, Western Australia and Victoria and the group with original member and drummer Barry Whitwam, Jamie Thurston on bass guitar and vocals, John Summerton on guitar and vocals and Tony Young on Keyboards and vocals will perform many of their classic hits from the 60's including I'm Into Something Good, Mrs Brown You've Got A Lovely Daughter, No Milk Today, There's A Kind Of Hush, My Sentimental Friend and many others.
