Yesterday afternoon I went to Kedron Wavell to see the legendary British rock group Herman's Hermits which it was my 15th time seeing them and it is 30 years when I first saw them at Festival Hall as part of the British 60's Concert. I caught the bus to Chermside from the city, walk to Kedron Wavell, went to the Kitchen, rang Dad, Had Crumbed Lamb Cutlets, chips and Coleslaw for lunch, drank Coke with No Sugar, ate Caramel Waffle, went up to the Blue Pacific Room and saw Michael who I have known from the gigs. The second set started an medley of the Who songs which after that Barry talked about his encounter with them when they toured together on the American tour in 1967 and did more of the hits which Barry out on the percussion for 2 songs as well as doing Here Comes My Baby and Whole Lotta Shakin Goin On which some of the ladies were coming on to the floor dancing towards the end of the show. The show ended after 5pm, people were lining up to get the CD and brouchers as well as getting autographs and photos which I got mine, walk to the bus stop, caught bus to Woolloongabba, caught bus to Carindale, went to the Carindale Hotel where I had Steak and Chips for dinner, drank Coke with No Sugar, Dad picked me up and came home.
