4BK Top 10 June 1966

This is from the Telegraph June 29th 1966 and this was the 4BK Top 10 with Crispian St Peters at number 1 with his version of the Ian and Sylvia song which had been an hit for American group We Five the year before You Were On My Mind, The Easybeats at number 2 with Come and See Her, Bobby and Laurie at number 3 with their version of the Roger Miller song Hitch Hiker which the 2 musicians playing on it went on to form the Australian band Daddy Cool Gary Young on drums and Wayne Duncan on bass as they were playing with the Rondells who backed up Bobby and Laurie, Bob Lind at number 4 with Elusive Butterfly, Nancy Sinatra at number 5 with How Does That Grab You Darlin, Manfred Mann at number 6 with Pretty Flamingo which Jack Bruce who went to form Cream played bass on it, The Rolling Stones at numbrt 7 with Paint It Black which was recorded in Hollywood at RCA with Brian Jones playing sitar, The Who at number 8 with Substitiute, Roy Orbison at number with Twinkle Toes and The Mamas and the Papas at number 10 with Monday Monday.
