This is the autobiography of American businesswoman and Fashion Designer Tina Knowles and in this book she talks about her upbringing in Galveston Texas, sang in an group called the Veltones, moved to California where she worked for the Shiseido cosmetics, meeting Matthew Knowles who would be her husband for 31 years as well as having 2 daughters Beyonce and Solange who are successful singers with Beyonce being in the girl group Destiny's Child, had her own business Headliners in Houston Texas which was an hair salon, started an magazine called Hair International as an side project, becoming an costume designer for Destiny's Child, launched House of Dereon an clothing line with Beyonce, her 2nd marriage to Richard Lawson, enounters with Kelly Rowland, Tina Turner, Bono from U2, Aaliyah and many others. It is FANTASTIC and excellent as well as very impressive and very entertaining with Amazing stories which it is well worth an read. Tina will be in London on Wednesday June 4th to promote her book and I am giving this 4 stars as it's in the shops now so do yourselves an favour and BUY IT which you will be impressed and amazed.

Vale Peter Flanagan(the Fauns/The Flanagans)

Peter Flanagan member of legendary Australian singing family group the Fauns aka the The Flanagans passed away on September 2nd aged 73 at the Royal North Shore Hospital in Sydney. Peter along with brother Paul and Sister Margaret began as the Fauns in 1959 as they had been doing classical music training which they released 3 singles on the Leedon label- Dance With Me/Don't Take the Stars, We Should Be Together/While Susan Sleeps and Nursery Rhymes Rock and as the Flanagans they released 4 singles on the HMV label-He/Wonderland Of Love and Dreams(1965), Follow the Wind/Land OF Beyond(1965), You Were Meant FOr Me/That's How Man Began(1966) and This is My Song/For Bobby(1967). the group did appearances on Bandstand,Six O'Clock Rock, Teen Time, The Johnny O'Keefe Show, Sing Sing Sing, the Mike Walsh Show, IMT, Revue 61, Revue 62 and many others as well as performing on the Matt Munro TV special in 1966 as well as performing in the clubs too as well as co writing the song...

 This is the autobiography of Australian Pianist and musician John Charter and in this book he talks about his upbringing in Kingsford (Sydney), started learning piano at age 8, playing in Australia's first rock and roll band Alan Dale and the Houserockers, playing in his own trio, forming Johnny Rebb and The Rebels with Johnny Rebb who would achieve 6 top 40 hits from 1959-60 including Hey Sheriff and Pathway To Paradise, doing the Lee Gordon tours with the Everly brothers, Fabian , The Platters and Johnny Ray, doing Bandstand and Six O'Clock Rock, working with Slim Dusty, playing in the Sydney Club  and hotel Scene , forming his own group The John Charter Group, working in Vietnam and America with Digger Revell and many others.
