Brothers In Arms Dire Straits

On May 17th 1985 British rock band Dire Straits released their 5th album Brothers In Arms which was recorded at Air Studios in Montserrat in the West Indies and Power Station in New York where it was mixed and it went to number 1 in the UK, number 1 in the USA and number 1 in Australia. It was produced by Mark Knopfler and Neil Dorfsman which from the album had the singles So Far Away, Money For Nothing, Brothers In Arms, Walk Of Life and Your Latest Trick and it was also the first album in history to sell over 1 million copies in the CD format. It is now out on CD again as an 3CD set to celebrate the 40th anniversary of the album being released and on the 1st Cd it has the original tracks on the album and the 2 remaining CD's has an live performance they did in San Antonio Texas at the Muncipal Auditorium August 16th 1985 during the Brothers In Arms tour which they performed songs from the album as well as the hits they had at the time. It's AWESOME and BRILLIANT with FANTASTIC and AWESOME songs as well as the live recordings which they sound great and it holds up very well to this day as well as hearing the songs from the album still getting played to this day on the radio as great music endures. This is an must for Dire Straits fans and I give this 5 stars as it's in the shops now so do yourselves an favour and BUY IT which you will be impressed and amazed.
