Music Is Love (1966-70) by Richard Clapton

This is the new album by legendary Australian singer-songwriter Richard Clapton known for hits in the 70's and 80's with Girls On The Avenue, Deep Water, I Am An Island and others and this album has covers of classic American songs from 1966-70 of the hippy era  by the acts including The Byrds, Buffalo Springfield, the Lovin Spoonful,  David Crosby and many others. It's FANTASTIC, BRILLIANT and SUPERB with FANTASTIC and Great songs of an golden era that has stood the test and for an man who is known as one of the Australian singer-songwriters  he does an FANTASTIC job doing those great songs in his own style and does it Brilliantly. Jak Housden from the Badloves and the Whitlams plays on 4 songs and 2 of Jimmy Barnes' daughters Mahalia and Ella May Jane  and Australian singer Darren Percival sang on one track and Richard Clapton produced this album as well. This album has gone to number 3 here in Australia and that is great to see an man who has been on the scene for more than 45 years achieving great success still after all these years so let's for maybe  number 1 which would be great.  I am giving this 5 stars and it's in the shops now so do yourselves an favour and BUY IT which you will be amazed and impressed.
