Creedence Clearwater Revival Live At Woodstock

This is the live CD of Legendary American rock group Creedence Clearwater Revival and this was recorded at the Woodstock Festival August 17th 1969 which they didn't get on stage until after midnight but their performance was never on album or in the movie but in 1994 a few songs were on the box set as well as in 2009 footage of some of their performances were on the home video and also it's the first time that their whole performance is released on CD. On this live CD they performed the songs they did at the time including some of the hits like Suzie Q, Proud Mary, Green River and I Put A Spell On you and some album tracks from the albums they had at the time. It's ROCKIN,BRILLIANT AND SUPERB with great songs and the sound is FANTASTIC which it is well worth listening too. This live CD has charted in mainly European countries and hard to believe that it's 50 years since this legendary music festival happened which it's still remembered after all these years. Th

On Wednesday June 12th I went to the QPAC Concert Hall to see the legendary American rock group The Monkees with Mike Nesmith and Mickey Dolenz which it was my second time seeing the group as I saw them also @ QPAC Concert Hall Friday December 2nd 2016 when Mickey and peter Tork were there. Dad took me to Cannon Hill, went to bus stop, caught bus and got off at South Bank. Rang Home, Went to Cactus Republic where I had Steak Nachos for dinner, drank pepsi max, ate Sundae at the Food court and walk to QPAC. Bought poster and T shirt, waited and went inside which I had to swap seats. The show started at about 8pm with Mike and Mickey coming on the stage which in the first set doing the songs from the 60's including the hits as well as album tracks from Headquarters, Head soundtrack album and Good Tiimes and at the end of the 1st set when they did Last Train To Clarksville guitarist Louie Shelton who played on the song and lives on the Gold Coast came on stage to play with Micke

On Sunday night June 9th I went to the Coolangatta Sands Hotel to see the Bowery Boys an trio from the East Coast and it was my first time seeing them. I walk to the Hotel which the show started after 6.30pm and they did 3 sets doing covers like Chuck Berry, Jerry Lee Lewis, Buddy Holly etc as well as seeing Bruno from the Rockerafellas an Melbourne rock group who played @ the very first Cooly Rocks On in 2011 and Dennis who managed them which they are still in Melbourne and Bruno is in an different band doing stuff like AC/DC as well as towards the end of the show an young boy came on Stage playing drums which he actually did very well and also everyone was dancing and having an great time as it was the last night for CRO 2019 as well as having an Cole Zero and Saw Tracey. On Sunday June 9th I went to the Greenmount Surf Club to see legendary Australian singer Tony Worsley and I had saw perform the month before @ QPAC Concert Hall in Brisbane for the Go Show Concert. I went to the club, show the card, went upstairs and Had Nachos for lunch. The show started @ 12pm with the back up band did an few songs and then Tony Worsley came on stage which he did 3 sets doing his hits in the 60's as well as songs by Ray Brown and The Whispers, billy Thorpe, Elvis Presley, The Big Bopper, Jerry Lee Lewis, Wilson Pickett and many others as well as during the 3rd set an young lady did an few songs and in the audience at the show was Normie Rowe as well as seeing Tyler with Leanne . The show finished @ 4pm, saw Tony which I got photos with him, went for a walk and went back to Bella Mare. On Saturday night June 8th I went to the Coolangatta Surf Club to see Tamworth rockabilly singer Shelley Minson which it was my 4th time seeing her which was also my first time seeing her perform in an venue. I walk to the Surf Club, show the card, went upstairs, had Rib Fillet, Chips and Salad for dinner, drank Pepsi max, ate Cherry Ripe Slice for desert, went to the spot where the show was, Saw Shelley Minson and saw Michael and Sabena. The show started at 7.30pm with Shelley backed by her own band including her husband guitarist and producer Laurie Minson doing 4 sets and performed songs her album Rockability as well as songs by Eddie Cochran, Wanda Jackson, Hank Williams, Johnny O'Keefe, Roy Orbison and others as well as Laurie doing some lead vocals too which he sounded great and also Tyler was there with Leanne and model Miss Lulu Devine was there too and Shelley looked great dressing in cowgirl clothes. Tribute To the Delltones @ Griffith Street Stage

On Saturday afternoon June 8th the 4th and last free show I attended was again at the Griffith Street Stage Coolangatta to see the act Tribute To the Delltones which has Danny Mayers the lead singer from 1982-85 and 1995-2011 and guitarist and vocalist Woody Finalyson from 1984 until 2015 and I saw Danny and the band last year at the Greenmount Stage which Woody was in the audience but now plays with them. The show started at 3.50pm which the songs that the Delltones did on stage with Andre Els doing an good bass vocals and unfortunately just as they were going great the power went off as the fuel had ran out which ended the show. I thanked Andre, bought Coke Zero and Ice Cream from 7-11 and went to Bella Mare. it was an FANTASTIC show despite being very short and the band were FANTASTIC with great singing by Danny as well as the harmonies and everyone was enjoying themselves and also I look forward to see them again soon. On Saturday afternoon June 8th I went to see Brisbane singer Dennis Knight at the Griffith Street Stage in Coolangatta. The show started at 2.30pm with the back up band including Russell Bayne on guitar and Gail Kellie on Piano doing Rock Around The Clock and then Dennis Knight came on stage wearing glasses and performed songs by Roy Orbison, bobby Vee, Dion and Elvis Presley and the band stopped briefly as people were taking photos and also the back up singer Tracey came on the stage to do back up on some songs but then rain starting to come which the show ended. It was an FANTASTIC show which Dennis sounded great as ever as well as singing great too and the back up band were FANTASTIC too with great guitar playing by Russell as well as piano playing by Gail and also everyone had an great time. On Saturday June 8th I went to Griffith Street Stage Coolangatta to see Issi Dye and Glenn Douglas. The show started at 11.50am with Issi and Glenn doing the classic rock and roll songs by Col Joye, Johnny O'Keefe, Bobby Darin and Elvis Presley and in the audience was legendary Brisbane rock singer Johnny Gray as well as Tyler with Leanne who won Miss Cooly Rocks On as well as people dancing and enjoying themselves. On Saturday morning June 8th I went to the Greenmount Stage to see Ella Fontaine and the Sugar Shakers which I had seen them an few times. The show started @ 10am which they did an 50 minute set doing original songs they wrote as well as a covers which people on the dance floor enjoying themselves and having an great time and also had CD's on sale after the show. the show finished at 10.50am and went to have a look around for a while. I walked to Twin Towns, went to Flames where I had Bacon and Prawn Fettuccini for dinner, drank Coke Zero, went up to the 5th Floor, drank Pepsi Max, ate Crunch and went inside the showroom. On Friday morning June 7th I went to see the legendary Brisbane singer Johnny Gray and Melbourne singer Glenn Douglas. Last night I went to the Balmoral Cinema to see the Australian movie Palm Beach. On Thursday night June 6th I went to the Greenmount Surf Club to see Issi dye and Glenn Douglas which it was my first time seeing Glenn. On Wednesday June 5th I went to Twin Towns to see Wally and the Gators which it was my first CRO 2019 show. I went to Twin Towns, bought ticket to see A Band Called Twang that Friday night and went up to the First Floor. The show started @ 8.30pm which I stayed for 3 sets and they did classic rock and roll by Elvis, Little Richard, Eddie Cochran, Creedence Clearwater Revival, Bill Haley, Dion, Ricky Nelson and others and it was there when the State Of Origin (the 1st) was shown on the Screen which Queensland won that game, drank 2 Pepsi Maxes and ate an Crunch. On Saturday June 1st I went to QPAC Playhouse to see the Johnny Cash Live at San Quintein with Daniel Thompson which it was my first time seeing it and it's 50 years ago this year when the live album came out. Dad took me to Cannon Hill, caught bus to South Bank, rang home, went to Cactus Republic where I had nachos for dinner, drank Pepsi max and went to the QPAC Playhouse. Saw Corey from QCG, drank pepsi Max, talked, went inside and waited. Last Sunday August 4th I went to the Cleveland Showground to attend Greazefest 2019 as it was celebrating 20 years when it started and I have been going to it for 11 years when it was at Westend as well as Rocklea and it's been at Cleveland since 2016. Last night I went to the Balmoral Cinema to see the comedy movie Late Night. On Friday May 31st I went to QPAC to see the APIA Good Times show which was my 3rd time seeing it and the line up were Vika and Linda from the Black Sorrows, Joe Camilleri, Kate Cebrano, John Paul Young, ross Wilson, Russell Morris and Brian Cadd. I caught the bus from Cannon Hill to South Bank, saw Angie and her husband Michael, went to Yellowfin where I had T Bone Steak and Veges for dinner, ate Sundae at the Food Court and walk to QPAC.
