To Olivia

This afternoon I went to the movies at Dendy Cinema Coorparoo to see the movie To Olivia. It's the early 1960's in Buckinghamshire England with writer Roald Dahl (Hugh Bonneville) who is married to actrees Patricia Neal(Keeley Hawes) who have 3 children Olivia, Tessa and Theo and then tragedy strucks when their daughter Olivia passes away from measels encephalitis which both Roald and Patricia struggle through this sad loss they eventually overcome this with Roald doing an book which would become Charlie and the Chocolate Factory while Patricia gets an offer to do an movie called Hud with Paul Newman which gets interesting. It is sad, touching and Brilliant with Fantastic acting by Hugh Boneville and Keeley Hawes as well as Geoffrey Palmer in his final movie before passing away in November 2020 and Sam Heughan who played Paul Newman. It is based on the book An Unique Life by Stephen Michael Shearer, directed by John Hay who did the screenplay with David Logan and produced by Donall McCusker. I give it 4 stars as it's in the cinemas now do yourselves an favour and SEE IT which you eill be impressed and amazed.
