Rose Tattoo @ Koala Tavern

On Friday night(March 31st) I went to the Koala Tavern in Capalaba to see legendary Australian rock band Rose Tattoo which it was my very first time seeing them but I saw Angry Anderson at Wynnum RSL with my friend Matthew 6 years ago on Saturday April 15th 2017 which was FANTASTIC . I caught the bus from Carindale to Capalaba, walk to the Koala Tavern which was my first time going to it even though i checked it out 2 months ago, went to the bistro and rang home. Had steak chips and salad for dinner, drank Pepsi Max, waited outside, went inside, bought chips and Coke with No Sugar, ate chips, drank coke with no sugar, bought Rose Tattoo hat and use mobile. Ezra Lee an rock and roll pianist with his band the Nomads came on stage at about 8.30pm which they did an set of rock and roll and boogie woogie songs including some Jerry Lee Lewis and Louis Jordan stuff which they did an Fantastic set and there was an interval where I bought coke with no sugar, drank it and use mobile. At about 9.35pm Rose Tattoo came on stage with Angry Anderson as the remaining original founding member with Mark Evans who was from AC/DC from 1975-77 who played on 4 albums TNT, High Voltage, Dirty Deeds Done Dirt Cheap and Let There Be Rock as well as the classics It's A Long Way To The Top and has been with Rose Tattoo since 2017 , Ronnie Simmons on guiatr since 2022, on slide also since 2022 mick Arnold and on drums since 1992-2016 and 2021 Paul DeMarco and for the next 1 hour and 25 minutes they performed many of their classic songs from the 70's and 80's as well as some of the tracks from the 1981 album Assault and Battery which it's the name of the current tour as they really rocked hard with great singing by Angry Anderson and in the early stages of the show Angry complained about the Tv being on as the audience were meant to watch the show so the TV was turned off as the crowd cheered and just went on with it. I left at 11pm as the show was just about to finish, Dad picked me up and came home. It was FANTASTIC and ROCKIN which everyone had an great time and I had an great time as well as Rose Tattoo were FANTASTIC too with Angry Anderson still sounding great at age 75. I am glad to have seen Rose Tattoo and look forward to see them again in the Future and to those who have not seen them please do yourselves an favour and SEE THEM which you will be impressed and amazed seeing an iconic and legendary Australian rock band.
