Oh What A Night at Kedron Wavell

On Sunday I went to Kedron Wavell to see the Four Seasons tribute show Oh What A Night which it was my second time seeing the show as I first saw them on Saturday February 25th 2017. I caught the bus to Chermside from the city, walk to Kedron Wavell, went to the Kitchen, rang Dad, ordered Rib Fillet, chips and salad and Brownie Sundae, bought Coke With No Sugar and use mobile. Had Rib Fillet, chips and salad for lunch, drank Coke with No Sugar, and Ate Sundae. Drank another coke with no sugar, went to toilet, bought ticket to see Fabba and Boney M Xperience show on March 17th 2024, went upstairs and went to the Blue Pacific Room. Bought Chips and Coke with No Sugar, ate chips, drank Coke with No Sugar and use mobile. The show started at 3pm which the 4 guys came on stage and did the 2 sets which the first one they did the Four Seasons Hits including Sherry, Big Girls Don't Cry, December 1963 (Oh What A Night) as well as 2 of the Frankie valli solos including Grease and there was an interval where I had an Coke With No Sugar. The second set had more of the Four Seasons classics as well as well as songs by others that were influenced by the Four Season including Uptown Girl by Billy Joel and See You In September by the Happenings as well as the Frankie Valli Solo Can't Take My Eyes off You and medley of the hits. The show ended after 4.40pm as there was an 7.30pm show that night and I saw my friends Robyn, Kevin and Di, got new card, walk to the bus stop and caught bus to the city. Caught bus to Carindale, Dad picked me and came home. It was an FANTASTIC show which everybody enjoyed themselves and I had a great time. The group sounded great as well as having an great sense of humour and truly entertained the crowd singing along to the songs. The group will be back in Australia next year and if you have not seen them do yourselves an favour and See Them which you will be impressed and entertained. Vale Peter Flanagan(the Fauns/The Flanagans)

Peter Flanagan member of legendary Australian singing family group the Fauns aka the The Flanagans passed away on September 2nd aged 73 at the Royal North Shore Hospital in Sydney. Peter along with brother Paul and Sister Margaret began as the Fauns in 1959 as they had been doing classical music training which they released 3 singles on the Leedon label- Dance With Me/Don't Take the Stars, We Should Be Together/While Susan Sleeps and Nursery Rhymes Rock and as the Flanagans they released 4 singles on the HMV label-He/Wonderland Of Love and Dreams(1965), Follow the Wind/Land OF Beyond(1965), You Were Meant FOr Me/That's How Man Began(1966) and This is My Song/For Bobby(1967). the group did appearances on Bandstand,Six O'Clock Rock, Teen Time, The Johnny O'Keefe Show, Sing Sing Sing, the Mike Walsh Show, IMT, Revue 61, Revue 62 and many others as well as performing on the Matt Munro TV special in 1966 as well as performing in the clubs too as well as co writing the song

Roland Storm , Bryan Davies and the Mighty Guys show @ South Tweed Sports Club June 6th 2015

On Saturday June 6th I went to the South Tweed Sports Club in the evening where I saw legendary Australian singers Roland Storm and Bryan Davies as well as the rock group the Mighty Guys. Dad took me to the Club, signed in, went inside, bought an Pepsi max, drank it, saw Mick Hamilton(had not seen since Sunday June 9th 2013) and Leon Isackson and waited. The show started after 8pm with the Mighty Guys doing a few songs which were classic rock n roll songs with lead vocals done by both Leon Isackson and Mick Hamilton and then Roland Storm and Bryan Davies came on stage which they did a few songs together which then Roland did his set which he performed an set of classic rock songs as well as doing his hit from 1992 with Rolling With the Flow and there was an interval which Roland was selling CD's as I already have them but he came which people bought them as well as seeing Mike Lawler which I mentioned to him about the Rajahs version of a Beatles song on the Australia Salutes the
