a look at 2010

As i am writing this we now in the first hour of 2011 and may it be an good one for everyone. I would like to take a look at 2010 and to look at how an interesting year it was for me.
Did the shave for a cure in March which Paul and his mum Val from bowling were there and i raised $1,764 dollars.
Still doing the mail @ St Andrews after 11 years and had an very interesting year there as the front entrance was opened as well as the new building which the Governor general Quinten Bryce opened it and got an photo with which was an highlight. We had some of the staff members being made redundant through April and May as well as people leaving as well including Barry Coker(Engineering), Lil from Physical Sciences, Paul Tooma from Engineering, Daphne Laker Jones, Di from Allied Health, Sharon ROse and others and also met new people like Nellie, Ashleigh, Jess, Rebecca, Bernice, Davis, Stephen, Sinead,Cassie,Amy Buckett, Tiffany, and others. Had our first Christmas party for the hospital and had an great night, had an Christmas breakfast with patient Accounts and the sad loss of staff member Everett from the Kitchen. QCG,Medical Center and Imagining for women were opened in the new building. Am on leave until january 10th and look forward to my 12th year.
Going to Wintersun which was sadly the last one @ Coolangatta as it is going to Port Macqurie but there is an rock'n'roll festival called Cooly Rocks on which I am looking forward to it and among the shows were Wanda Jackson, the Reel Elvis Show, the Johnny O'Keefe Celebration Concert, dean Z, Lance Lipinsky, bobby brooks Hamilton and the free shows which the highlights were meeting Denise Drysdale and Idris Jones of the Mixtures. I met Kayla and Karen from the rockabilly gang on the Sunday before I went home.
Still going to church which it's now called Engage City Church
Still going to ten pin bowling which I had 2 new high scores 227 in march and 258 in November and bowled in 2 tournaments.
Recieved the very sad news that Uncle John passed away on my birthday
Had the crossroads reunion in October on the 10th and despite the wet weather had an great day.
Going to some of the rockabilly shows at South Brisbane,Rocklea and holland Park and met Les, Haylee, Chloe, Jodie, Michael, India & Chantelle.
Going to the shows which among the shows this year were the Motown Show, The Delltones, the Searchers, the Radiators, Vince Melouney, john paul Young, dean Vegas and Dennis Knight, the barron Knights, Ross Wilson, Bobby Rydell, Hermans hermits and others.
Great news that my sister Madonna is having her 3rd baby which will be due in june 2011.
Going to Lifestream which among the outings were-the Broncos vs Cronulla, Fish and Chips Outing, Guys days out @ Broncos Leagues Club, ten pin Bowling, Movies and others.
Friendship group still going strong which among the highlights were Big Night Out, Mundo Churassco part owned by Francis' mother Shirley Roiter, Pool party at Leisa Keast's place and the big one was ben & Oriel's wedding in April which it was an GREAT DAY.
went to a trivia night with the Body Corporate group @ Red Hill and it was an great night.
going to henimotu's 21st birthday @ Cannon Hill which it was an Great night.
Going to Debbie White's 40th Birthday in Caxton Street and it was an GREAT Night too.
Attending Mt gravatt High School's 50th anniversary @ Pacific Golf Club and it was an GREAT night
Well that's all there is of my looking at 2010 and may 2011 be an good one for me and my family & friends and also to all of you out there.
