Jersey Boys

Last Saturday I went to the Balmoral Cinema with Mum to see the movie Jersey Boys which it's about the Legendary American singing group the Four Seasons. the story starts with a group called the Variety Trio which had Tommy DeVito(Vincent Piazza) with his brother Nick (Johnny Cannizzaro) and friend Nick massi(Michael Lomenda) in Belleville New Jersey and an young barber named Frankie (John Lloyd Young) who is already known in the neighborhood for his singing voice has the admiration of an gangster named Gyp DeCarlo (Christopher Walken). The group had a brush with the law which Frankie gets a let off with a warning and tommy goes to jail for 6 months but when he gets released the group reunites which they add Frankie as the singer who changes his name to Frankie Valli. The group who is now the Four Lovers are need of a songwriter when Nick Devito leaves which it is through Joe Pesci (Joey Russo) that Bob Gaudio(Erich Bergen) who was from the Royal Teens known for the song Short Shorts and write songs joins the group and would become the Four Seasons and who would achieve success with hits like Sherry, Big Girls Don't Cry, Walk Like A Man and there is issues behind the scenes which gets interesting throughout the movies. It is an excellent movie with great music as well as excellent acting done by Vincent Piazza, John Lloyd Young, Michael Lomenda, Erich Begen, Christopher Walken, Mike Doyle as Bob Crewe, Katherine Narducci as Mary(frankie's wife) and others and it is directed by actor Clint Eastwood who does an excellent job directing this film which it is based on the successful musical which has done very well on Broadway and on stage in Australia and also I love the narration that each actor did in it which was excellent too. This is for any fans of 60's music as well as fans of the Four Seasons and I am giving this 4 stars which it's currently running in the cinemas at the moment so Go and See It which you will enjoy it and be amazed by it.
