Elvis Presley That's The Way It Is

On November 11th 1970 Elvis Presley released the That's The Way it Is album which he had recorded it between June and August that year and it went to number 21 in the USA as well as number 8 on the country charts and also there was an documentary movie of the same name even though it is not considered an soundtrack album as that album had 4 live recordings in las Vegas while the others were studio recordings. This album has been reissued and it is now out on CD again as a 2 CD edition which the first CD has not only the original tracks from the album as well as the original singles as well as the outtakes of some of the songs and the 2nd CD has an live recording at the dinner show at the International Hotel in Las Vegas as it it is the first complete release of a Elvis Presley concert in 1970. It is an FANTASTIC,BRILLIANT and an AWESOME double CD with great songs and it is very enjoyable and very entertaining indeed which it is well worth listening too. Warren Zanes does the liner notes which has excellent photos and this double CD sounds so good which the sound quality is excellent as well. It's been 60 years since Elvis came on the scene with That's Alright Mama as well as being 37 years since he passed away but his music lives on as well as still making an impact to this day and this CD is a must for any Elvis Presley fans which I give this 5 stars and it's in the shops now so do yourself a favour and BUY IT.

Vale Peter Flanagan(the Fauns/The Flanagans)

Peter Flanagan member of legendary Australian singing family group the Fauns aka the The Flanagans passed away on September 2nd aged 73 at the Royal North Shore Hospital in Sydney. Peter along with brother Paul and Sister Margaret began as the Fauns in 1959 as they had been doing classical music training which they released 3 singles on the Leedon label- Dance With Me/Don't Take the Stars, We Should Be Together/While Susan Sleeps and Nursery Rhymes Rock and as the Flanagans they released 4 singles on the HMV label-He/Wonderland Of Love and Dreams(1965), Follow the Wind/Land OF Beyond(1965), You Were Meant FOr Me/That's How Man Began(1966) and This is My Song/For Bobby(1967). the group did appearances on Bandstand,Six O'Clock Rock, Teen Time, The Johnny O'Keefe Show, Sing Sing Sing, the Mike Walsh Show, IMT, Revue 61, Revue 62 and many others as well as performing on the Matt Munro TV special in 1966 as well as performing in the clubs too as well as co writing the song

Roland Storm , Bryan Davies and the Mighty Guys show @ South Tweed Sports Club June 6th 2015

On Saturday June 6th I went to the South Tweed Sports Club in the evening where I saw legendary Australian singers Roland Storm and Bryan Davies as well as the rock group the Mighty Guys. Dad took me to the Club, signed in, went inside, bought an Pepsi max, drank it, saw Mick Hamilton(had not seen since Sunday June 9th 2013) and Leon Isackson and waited. The show started after 8pm with the Mighty Guys doing a few songs which were classic rock n roll songs with lead vocals done by both Leon Isackson and Mick Hamilton and then Roland Storm and Bryan Davies came on stage which they did a few songs together which then Roland did his set which he performed an set of classic rock songs as well as doing his hit from 1992 with Rolling With the Flow and there was an interval which Roland was selling CD's as I already have them but he came which people bought them as well as seeing Mike Lawler which I mentioned to him about the Rajahs version of a Beatles song on the Australia Salutes the
