Russell Morris and Brian Cadd Show @ Kedron Wavell

Last night I went to see legendary Australian singers Russell Morris and Brian Cadd @ Kedron Wavell which it's my 15th seeing Russell and 9 times but them together 5. Dad took me to Cannon Hill, caught the bus to Chermside, went to kedron Wavell, went to the Cafe, had Nachos for dinner, drank Coke, ate Sundae, went to the Blue Pacific Room, saw Michael and talked. Russell Morris and Brian Cadd came on stage and for the next hour and 45 minutes performed their classic hits from the 60's and 70's as well as some new songs including tracks from Brian's new album Silver City which was released yesterday as well as Russell's new songs from an new album that will be released in April which he has worked with Bernard Fanning from the Australian rock band Powderfinger as well as telling stories and jokes as mentioning Russell living in Queensland and Brian living in Byron Bay some of the time and Woodstock USA as well as the people singing along to the songs and some people were dancing on the floor enjoying themselves. The show finished @ 9.45pm , people were lining up to get the new CD as well as the CD boxed set by Russell Ghosts and Legends which are the tracks from his recent albums which included some stuff that was not released as well as interviews and the making of Sharkmouth, saw my friends Mark, Tyler from rockabilly, his partner leeanne and his dad, got Brian's autograph and photo, talked with Tyler, Leeanne and his dad, got Wally Lewis' autograph and photo, went downstairs, saw Dad, Drank Coke Zero and came home. It was an FANTASTIC show which myself and everyone had an great time as well as great singing by brian and Russell which they are sounding great as ever with an great back up band including drummer John creech from the Mixtures and Bluestone and Peter Robinson on guitar and it was packed which it's great to see these guys still packing them after all these years which reminds everyone that the oldie acts can still pack venues even if it's RSL and Leagues Clubs. I look forward to see them again soon and if you have not seen them please do yourselves an favour and see them which you'll be impressed.
