Record Play Pause Confession of A Post Punk Percussionist by Stephen Morris

This is the memoir of British percussionist and founding member of 2 British Bands Joy Division and New Order Stephen Morris and in this book he talks about his upbringing in the North West in an town called Macclesfield, starting getting an guitar and drums during his childhood, played in his first band in the mid 70's, joined an band called Warsaw who would become Joy Division and would achieve great success in the 70's with 2 albums which they were going to break the US market but sadly ended with the passing of Ian Curtis in 1980 and many others. It's FANTASTIC, BRILLIANT and SUPERB with very entertaining and great stories told by Stephen as well as enjoyable and understanding the story about life in an town that was far removed from Manchester. Stephen is still working which he performs with New Order as they did an American tour last year and this book is part memoir, part scrapbook and part aural history. This is an must for 70's music fans as well as fans for Joy Division and I am this 4 and an half stars as it's in the shops now do yourselves an favour and BUY IT which you'll be impressed.
